Spring is here in Copenhagen and the flowers are everywhere. I must confess that I feel the same way about flowers as some people feel about heroin. I can’t get enough of of them. I love how they brighten the home and the city. Flowers can also be inexpensive way to add some drama to your wedding day, beyond the bouquet or the table settings.   If your wedding is less formal, or your dress more simple, a great way to add instant drama is to make a flower crown.  You must start with a base you can fix the flowers to, we used a wire wreath and tied the flowers with floral wire.  This crown is quite large but you can make yours to exactly your wishes, making it smaller or larger to create the look you want.  If you aren’t the crafty type many florists can help you create the look you want.  Just remember the season will also dictate what flowers are available.   The crown can help take a simple dress from sweet to WOW.  It was so much fun to create these photos with our lovely model Gabriela in beautiful Ørestedsparken next to Nørreport Station and along Islands Brygge where we found an amazing wisteria vine.
